Triumph proving that 20 years apart didn’t change a thing; they still kick ass. A great live set from one of the best power trios of our time. A great package giving you the best of both worlds with the …

Triumph fans need to buy this CD/DVD package.  Seeing the band on DVD is great as it is a feast for both the ears and eyes.  The CD alone, however, is damn good too and will find its way back …

It has been 30 years since Triumph, Rik Emmett (guitarist/singer), Gil Moore (drums, vocals) and Mike Levine (bass, keyboards), released their classic and best album Allied Forces. I had the opportunity to review their entire catalog of remastered releases several …

“The Sport of Kings” (TML / Universal; 1985) Often considered one of the most disappointing Triumph records, “The Sport of Kings” was attacked because of its heavy keyboard sound and the band’s shift to a more radio-friendly song style (in …

“Allied Forces” (MCA; 1981) When I was 13, my uncle had a music store in Tulsa, OK and he let me pick out any cassette I wanted — a cassette, mind you. As you may guess, I chose Triumph’s “Allied …

“Classics” (MCA; 1989) There’s a reason this “Greatest Hits” package is entitled “Classics.” I think that’s an appropriate title because Triumph’s music can be heard on the classic stations, and, after you review the track list and haven’t heard one …

For a band that hasn’t performed together since the late 1980s, TRIUMPH has been keeping a high profile in the music scene. Together Gil Moore, Mike Levine, and Rik Emmett perform a razor-sharp set of their best material in front of 10,000 screaming mad Canadian rock fans

Rik Emmett (guitars/vocals), Gil Moore (drums/vocals) and Mike Levine (bass/keyboards) are Triumph, a vastly underrated band in comparison to the other famous trio hailing from Canada, Rush. They did not make their name by having any hit singles; it took them time to gather their audience through endless live performances. Live At The US Festival is a remastered version of the original concert held before a half million people in 1983 in the burning heat of the Southern California desert.
