What Band/Artist do you Currently Listen Too?

We know you listen to Triumph, But what are you listening to in your car or portable music player at the moment? Ive been listening to alot of Gary Moore, Pink Floyd, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Led Zep lately.

Keep coming back as your music changes

Re: What Band/Artist do you Currently Listen Too?

Lately I've been listening to a lot of my kids music. At first it wasn't by choice (we'd get in the car & they'd throw on one of their CDs or turn the radio station to the local alt rock station)but I've actually started to like some of their choices.

My daughter has been playing a lot of this one band called "My Chemical Romance." They're no Triumph but they are pretty good. I often listen to their CD when it's just me in the car.

They're coming to Toronto soon. Perhaps I should tell my daughter that she can only attend their show if I can chaperone. dry.gif

Re: What Band/Artist do you Currently Listen Too?

I recently visited a friend in Vermont he has 2 daughters 13 and 15. We got talking music and I only heard of one of the bands they listened too. As if that wasnt bad enough they never even heard of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd or the Who. Suddenly I felt old.

I should tell my daughter that she can only attend their show if I can chaperone.

Do it and give us a mini review.

Re: What Band/Artist do you Currently Listen Too?

I listen to Rush a lot, but I've also been listening to Liquid Tension Experiment, Bozzio Levins Stevens and the Burning for Buddy CD's, but I always have Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Colin James on tap (gotta have my blues fix!).

I've been listening to Queensryche, L. A. Guns, Tesla, and of course Triumph. I enjoy live music or bootleg recordings when possible. It gives a sense of refreshment to the same old studio music from these great bands.

Re: What Band/Artist do you Currently Listen Too?

As a guy from Texas, I have been listening to a lot of Texas Music and Americana stuff. Reckless Kelly is a favorite of mine, probably too country for most other Triumph fans, Cross Canadian Ragweed can rock, but seem to be selling out (sound familiar) Don't you hate it when bands start thinking about singles and not the whole cd

Houston radio is terrible so I don't really keep up with new music that is not from Texas. Any ideas???

    Hi rino7789

There are good bands out there. Unfortunately they dont get air play.

Theres a band called "RA" their "duality" cd is the first young band to get my attention in a long time. Im a huga Aldo Nova fan as well. Ive been turning people on to his "Novas Dream" disc.
I like the other bands you mention very much as well. Im going to check out the bands people list on this thread.
