no its not, I had 2112 too, and I like the Overture and Temples of Sirynx(sp?), and my sister had a compliation album that I listened too before, I dont hate them its just not reeeally what I'm into, but its much better than listening to rap(which is what the sisters now listen to...)

Images and Words is awesome. Other DT albums never hooked me except for A Change of Seasons--considering all the groups represented in the live tracks, plus the Rush influence, DT is pretty much a vessel full of favorite music and bands. "Take the Time" is by far my favorite I&W track, but that's an album to listen to all the way through.

LTE is on my backlog, along with Spock's Beard, Porcupine Tree, and Mars Volta. Amazon often references those bands after I order or view Rush albums. Even more than LTE, I'm curious about Yellow Matter Custard. I believe they have a CD and DVD--anyone here own it? Paul Gilbert and Mike Portnoy seems like a Dream team, pun intended.

I dont normally listen to anything new but,

As I was searching for Triumph news I wound hearing this new band.

Eden's Curse (I dont know if anyone has it in this thread, I didnt go too far back to check).

But its kinda wierd they sound like eighties Hard Rock( a Heavier than Asia sound to me)

Saxon is awesome. Amazing British Classic Metal band!!! Their debut album released in 1979 and simply titled "Saxon" is really great. The singers voice reminds me a whole lot of Bon Scott. On certain songs his voice is identical to Scott's. Other early albums where great too, like "Strong Arm Of The Law" or "Wheels Of Steel".
