Audioslave, Van Halen 5150, Eagles Great hits, and Triumph are in my CD player.
Chris Cornell's CD "Carry On" comes out today.
a few days ago I got Operation: Mindcrime-Queensryche, Youthanasia-Megadeth, a best of Twisted Sister compilation, and Vivid by Living Colour
Today so far today ive been through
Van Halen - Fair Warning
Russ Ballard - Russ Ballard
Triumph - Just a Game
Aldo Nova - Novas Dream
I just got a very best of deal of Kiss, its missing some good ones but it was 21 songs for 10 dollars so it was worth it to me
I also got Master of Puppets by Metallica
and today I got Painkiller by Judas Priest!! hell yeah awesome album!
and I also got a Megadeth dvd-shredding is fun to watch, some of the riffs are more like solos! very technical stuff-at least it seems that way to me
and I got Twisted Sister'd dvd called the video years which is sweet and Dee Snider is quite entertaining lol
I have an REO dvd too! they still for sure get in the rotation...
I was debating getting guitar hero 80s or music, and I thought, yeah I have a real guitar and that'll get boring playing the same songs....so we'll go music, I was going to get Reign in Blood by Slayer but I decided I'd keep some money lol, I was also going to get something by Iced Earth but forgot what album it was that I read about...and damn it! I just checked and they had the one I wanted...oh well, I also have my eye on Kai Hansen's side project Iron Savior, I also have read some good things about Chris Impellitteri so I wanna try to find Answer to the Master by his band...we'll see, I have to stop reading reviews...they make my want-to-get list too big lol
well yet another day of getting music for me...I got Defenders of the Faith on cd now, I also have it on cassette, and I bought Days of Purgatory by Iced Earth which actually has two discs, the first is the album and the 2nd is a re-recording of their old hits so thats definatly a good deal, they're basically thrash metal with some pretty heavy duty vocals, I dont think I'd wanna go any heavier than these guys, the guitar is sweet with some awesome thrash riffs and shredding solos, and I also put in an orde rfor XYZ's Letter To God which got a good review on the website thats been my latest source of metal music
I have cds all over the place now...ha, I need to organize them again
I think its safe to say that you guys here turned me into a metalhead! I had a little bit of a start with the 70s rock, but my tastes have definatly planted themselves in the metal genre, whether it is thrash, hair, or power metal
Today I went thru Santana ,Zebra ,Zeppelin, and Jonny Chingas.
