So, a couple weeks ago one of my dad's friends gave me a bunch of his old cassettes because his tape deck didnt work anymore and he never listened to them anymore.  Along with a few cds, like Giant, Steve Stevens(one of THE best from the 80s! Atomic Playboys is right at the top of my fav albums list right now), Britny Fox...etc.  One of the cassettes he told me to make sure I listened to was Obsession's Methods of Madness.  From 1987 its some fairly heavy stuff, almost a hair metal/thrash metal cross at times?  Vocals are sort of a more heavy metalish Geoff Tate, Michael Vescera working those duties.  The riffs are pretty cool with some tastey solos.  Just thought I'd bring them up for anyone who may have forgotten, or if anyone remembers, I'd like to know more because there isnt much to be found about these guys and I have no clue how the guy remembered them!  He was trying to tell me about them before he went through his stuff after a softball game one night.  We talked music for like over an hour, he was a 'metalhead' back in the day I guess haha, big Dokken fan, I have most of their stuff on cassette now!  So what I'm saying is Obsession stuck out in his head out of all the stuff he had, and from what I've heard they're pretty legit.  Lyrics are a bit goofy at times but lets face it, that never really was the strong point of hair metal haha.

The band Rockhead is listed under USA, even though they were formed in Calgary, Alberta Canada by Canadian producer and Payolas/Rock N Hyde guitarist, Bob Rock and Chris Taylor, drummer of both bands.
