Would be cool, while Triumph is between big events, if maybe Mike and Gil joined Rik at one of his shows for a little acoustic jam.

What are the chances of doing another chat with Mike again? Gil or Rik too?

Us Triumph fans sure have many questions and comments saved up I'm sure.

    Thanks, Mark

all I can find are bits and pieces of news.

    Triumph Confirmed (Sort Of)

Sounds like being able to do two gigs without trying to kill each other was enough to convince Triumph that it was time to reunite. Actually the Canadian trio is only playing their second gig Friday night at the 2008 Rocklahoma festival somewhere in Oklahoma (the exact location really doesn't matter). Triumph's first reunion gig in 20+ years took place last month at the Sweden Rock Festival, but bassist Mike Levine says, "I think we will have a major tour in '09, starting [around] Memorial Day... and do the sheds and perhaps some arenas in the Fall."

With the last one Mike did say it would be something he'd like to do again so I think it's possible. The only concern would be timing. If it can be set up again I'll keep you posted

    Congratulations Triumph

Re: It's slow going in Triumph world

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for some new material. Considering that one of them owns one of the most cutting edge recording facilities on the planet, the logistics and practical aspects shouldn't be challenging at all.

Even if not a full album worth, at least say two to four new tracks. I think that's entirely reasonable. :) Preferably before the tour starts, so they could include at least some of them in the set. Really, I think some fresh material would make it even more legit to do a tour and it would serve them well to have a few things written for existing vocal ranges.

Put me down on record as saying I would happily purchase any new T material, even unheard.

Don't look back in anger, don't look ahead in fear. You just keep takin' her as she comes, until she comes in clear. The love you send out, returns to you in time.

    5150,

Excellent work.  I have saved the Surveillance/Never Surrender montage as my computer wallpaper.  What software do you use?
