    Jim from Burlington ON

I was a huge fan through my teen years.  I followed the band from Thunder 7 until now.  I bought all the albums and and currenty have all the CD's.  I still have the US Festival DVD on my wishlist.  I wonder if it's offered in widescreen format.

Truth be told that when Rik left, it felt like I was a kid in a broken marriage.  I chose not to follow anything.  I did not buy the Edge of Excess because I was so ticked off that the 3 of them couldn't settle their differences.

I guess since time heals all wounds it's time to forgive and forget.  I'm so happy to be back as a fan.

I've seen Triumph on their Sport of Kings tour, twice.  Buffalo at the "Aud" and in Toronto at Maple Leaf Gardens.  Ingrid Malmstein was the opening act in T.O.  Just before Triumph went live, a whole group of people ran in to the center floor area where the lighting contols were.  I'm pretty sure it was Kim Mitchell.  I also got to see them one summer at Kingswood Music Theatre at Canada's Wonderland.  I was about 3rd row and was truly amazed.  I watched Rik play with a couple broken strings on one song.  You see a little more up that close.

Anyway, I cannot wait for the concert schedule for 2009.
