    What Triumph Has Played Live

You know, as fans I think we’ve forgotten over the years (happens) how spoiled we have been by Triumph and the variation of tunes they’ve played live from their catalogue.  According to my memory, and the bootlegs of other shows that are out there (its not too hard to get these anymore), the guys have performed the following live …

In The Beginning -  (6 of 9); NOT Be My Lover, Don’t Take My Life, Easy Life (The guys obviously don’t like performing live any song that has the word ‘life’ in it)

Rock N Roll Machine (4 of 8); NOT Bringing It On Home, New York City Street-all parts, and The City (The guys also appear to not like performing live any song that deals with metropolitan areas)

Just A Game (6 of 8); NOT Young Enough To Cry or Just A Game (But come on!  How can you not perform the title track from your album?)

Progressions of Power (5 of 9) NOT In The Night, Woman in Love, Take My Heart and Hard Road (Hard Road won the recent death elimination match on this board … ooops … the guys may have missed on the popularity of this song)

Allied Forces (8 of 9) NOT Fool For Your Love (this song must have really sucked in the guys eyes to be the only one not to get played live … Hey Mr. Producer Mike, good choice on the leadoff track to your most popular album … haha – BTW. Air Raid was played over the loud speakers at the concerts)

Never Surrender (6 of 10) NOT All The Way, Battle Cry, Writing on the Wall and Epilogue

Thunder Seven (7 of 10) NOT Rock Out, Roll On (DUDES!-WTF?), Cool Down, Killing Time (Guess Rik and Gil didn’t want to serenade each other with Killing Time)

Stages (11 of 13)  NOT Mind Games and Empty Inside (Sheez, leave it up to Triumph to  figure out how to not get 100% coverage off a live album - LOL)

The Sport of Kings (3 of 11) ONLY Tears In The Rain, Somebody’s Out There, and Take A Stand (Just One Night live video doesn’t count – Too many songs played off this album IMHO)

Surveillance (3 of 12) ONLY Never Say Never, Carry On The Flame and Let The Light Shine On Me (acoustic)

Edge of Excess (2 of 10) ONLY Ridin’ High Again and Troublemaker

Live at the US Festival, King Biscuit Flower Hour, and Extended Versions Live all had 100% coverage.

War March, or Part 1, from the City was played live during the Rock And Roll Machine tours. According to bootlegs some parts of the song was played in early form before that.

kind of ironic that the just one night live video was never played 'live'...i was there for the shoot and it was shot after the concert was over. the guys came out and lip synced the song, after emmett got some heat from the crowd when levine said, "we're just waiting for rik to finish up with make-up'"...and boy did he look 'yummy'...if i was chick from the '80s

I think you confessed too much now...........LOL

I think the three songs they played live on TSUK tour, were the ones they should have kept on the album and scrapped the rest ( should have started over)

Keep Play With the Fire too and the rest can be scrapped

Can't you feel the magic, feel it everywhere, Can't you hear the music, there's something in the air, There's a celebration, deep within a song, Celebrate this feeling, you know it can't be wrong
